Today, I am packing up my room to get it ready for the sublettor who will be arriving Mon. afternoon! In typical Sarah-fashion I just finished finding a sublettor this week, less than 2 weeks before my trip. Some things never change.
...and then some things do. Today's activities have included:
-Taking a malaria pill.
-Packing up all my shoes. The stilletos, the peek-a-boo toes, the ballet flats, the kitten heels, the patent-leathers...all of them.
-Having a mild panic attack because i couldn't find my head lamp.
-Eating a Lean Cuisine and watching a few episodes of the Dog Whisperer (well this is actually normal behavior, but it's on the list)
Aghhhhh! I'm not panicking. I'm not panicking. I'm not panicking. They will like their new life in the big cardboard box. They're good little shoes.
Stay tuned, folks. It's only gonna get crazier from here on out!

After reading your blog thru today, August 25, (Grandma's Birthday), I am thinking that you are showing real talent as a reporter. Have you ever thought of Journalism as a career. Maybe it's not as much fun, though.
Keep thinking safety while you have fun. And, as we say in RID, "Don't drink and ......."
Best, j
